42 players from 8 different countries came together in Marmari, Greece this year to play the twentieth senior world championship.
With 7 juniors playing for their world cup, the total number of players was 49.
By far the largest number of all players came from all over Greece. The players, the amazing weather, the nearby pool and nice restaurants near the location made the tournament a big success that will be remembered by everyone attending.
After 9 rounds Anjo Travaille (NL) got enough points to become the new world champion. Tim Slagboom (NL) ended 2nd and John Vanderos (GR) took the bronze medal.
